Is the blended onsite first aid at work for forestry workers course for me?

This course is for those businesses that need to have one or more staff that hold a workplace first aid qualification so the employer can meet their requirements under the Fist Aid at Work regulations and have additional requirements because of the work they do such as forestry workers, carpentry workers, arborists, tree fellers.

It will enable the participants to provide First Aid to a casualty who is injured or ill.

All our courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2013 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2016 changes. All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements.

This version of the FAW course also includes the extra subjects required by the Forestry Commission to include extra subjects covered include severe cuts like chainsaws, crush injuries, Hypothermia and Lyme Disease.

n May 2016 the HSE and Awarding Organisations announced that computer based blended training is now allowed for all workplace first aid courses. You can now become a fully qualified First Aider in the workplace completing part online part classroom.
This course must be at least 18 hours, you complete 6 online and do 2 days in the classroom at your worksite.

This blended FAW course meets all of the requirements under the HSE and Awarding Organisations.

    How much does the blended first aid at work for forestry workers course cost?

    The cost for this course is £1750.00 for up to 12 participates.
    This covers both the onsite course and the 2 days classroom course.

    Need just a small number of people trained? Why not book our small group course.

    The cost is £315.00 per person, with just a minimum of 2 participant.
    This price covers both the online part of the course and the classroom course.
    The small group course is only available in Oxfordshire.
