Is the blended first aid at work course for me?

This course is a first aid at work course for those nursing or care homes that need to meet their requirements under the First Aid at Work regulations. This is an in-depth, comprehensive course for businesses who have identified that they require a higher level of first aid skills due to the type of business, the equipment used or the number staff. It will provide the participants with the skills and knowledge to deal with first aid accidents and emergencies at work as well as illnesses that individuals may develop whilst at work.

All our courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines  set out by the HSE and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2016 changes.

All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2025, as per the HSE requirements .

In May 2016 the HSE and Awarding Organisations announced that computer based blended training is now allowed for all workplace first aid courses. You can now become a fully qualified First Aider in the workplace completing part online and part classroom.

This course must be at least 18 hours, you complete 6 online and do 2 days in the classroom at your worksite.

This blended FAW course meets all of the requirements under the HSE and Awarding Organisations.


What is covered in the first aid at work course?


Can I do the first aid at work course in the classroom or onsite?

This course is a blended course where you will complete 6 hours online and the 12 hours in the classroom at your workplace.

How much does the blended first aid at work course cost?

This course is £1275 for the 2 classroom sessions for  up to 12 participants. Plus £30 per person for the online section of the course

if you only need a few people trained we can offer our small group course which is £300 per person with a minimum booking of 4 participants. This price includes both the online sections and the classroom section of the course.

If you need less that 4 participants trained, please get in touch to discuss the dates of our regular scheduled courses when individual members of your team can attend this training.
