Classroom Courses

Hi I’m Janice, I set up Thames Training in 2010 after teaching in the Early Years Sector for more than 20 years.

During that time I went on a LOT of first aid courses, most of which I was very disappointed in. They were either so dull I wanted to fall asleep or they would go out of their way to terrify me.  I was sure it didn’t have to be this way.

So when I set up Thames Training I was determined that all the courses I delivered would be fun, exciting and empowering so people would leave feeling they have learnt loads and that they had the confidence to give it a go if they needed to.

I passionately believe that everyone should know at least some basic first aid, and there is no reason this needs to be scary. Knowing what to do in an emergency and being willing to try to help someone is such an empowering thing.

We have a huge range of courses for businesses, individuals and organisations. These can be delivered in the classroom, at your workplace or home or online. So we will definitely have one that is just right for you.
